Access Control Point Building and Canopy (ACP & Canopy) Tooele Army Depot Tooele, Utah

This $477,436.00 dollar project, involved removing the old Access Control Point (A.C.P.) Building and Construction of a new A.C.P. with Canopy at the Tooele Army Depot, Tooele, Utah. Project requirements included site preparation  with minimal disruption to traffic flow on a main entrance to the Army Depot. Northern Construction run  new under ground  wiring, new water lines and a new sewer line that tied into the existing. Northern Construction placed new concrete flooring, concrete walls with bullet proof windows and installed cabinets counters, restroom HVAC Lighting, smoke detectors and infrared heat panels. Finishing the project with new asphalt curbing, lane markings and signage.

































































Shotgun Springs Wetland Restoration Project, 17 miles West of Corrine Utah
This $1.3 million dollar project contracted with USDA/NRCS Utah State office. Northern Construction excavated eroded areas and transported to basins that supported sediment control. Areas deeper than specified were then filled. A final grading was done to help with drainage. Northern Construction reconstructed all of the roads as well as repaired one eroded dike and built seven new dikes. Seeding was then performed over the disturbed areas. (Ariel Shots Below)








 Building 519 Tooele Army Depot Design Build, Tooele, Utah
This $3.3 million dollar project contracted with the General Service Administration (GSA) out of the Denver Colorado Office. Northern Construction structurally rebuilt building 519. By removing the existing roof, framing and concrete floor. A new pre-engineered metal building was constructed in its place on a new foundation with new interior design. Northern Construction constructed a new design build Administration building as well. Other improvements consisted of site development, new electrical, new fire suppression system and relocation all of the shop equipment. The HVAC system was completely re-done through out the shop area. With a thermal efficiency system.














Design Build Tooele Army Depot Building 520
The contract requirements included to structurally rebuild building 520. This consisted of the demolition of the existing roof, framing and concrete flooring. A new pre-engineered metal building t be constructed in its place on a new foundation with new interior design. A new administration area will be added. Along with new restrooms in the south end of the building as part of the new administration space. Other improvements consisted of site development new parking lot, new electrical, new fire suppression system and relocating all equipment in the shop area.
The HVAC system when finished will be completely new throughout the shop area, with a thermal efficiency system. Condensing natural gas units including intake and exhaust piping. The ventilation system is designed to provide cooled air in the summer. Northern Construction will install motor operated louvers at the discharge points of the ventilation system. Station Park Hyatt Hotel

  Northern Construction performed as a Mechanical subcontractor on this project. The contract requirements included installing all wet side mechanical/plumbing in the new construction of the Hyatt Hotel. This included rough installation and all finish installation.
Northern Construction self-performed 100% of this project, on time and with great satisfaction to the end user. Contract value $1.2 Million dollars.



















Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument HVAC Repair & Nelson House Demolition

  This project consisted of multiple repairs to improve the functionality of the visitor center's sate of the art heating and ventilation system,

  Demolition and removal of the Nelson house completes a square footage trade off  the park committed to prior, by removing an unsafe, unused structure from park land.
